Photos on crystal are a relatively new product that is gaining popularity year after year. It is a beautiful and attractive addition to headstones or urn walls. Photos on glass are distinguished by their exceptional color intensity – particularly noticeable are deep green, red, and black, which are very difficult to achieve with ceramic colors. In our offer, you will find color, black-and-white, and sepia photos on crystal. The finished photo on glass comes with a specialized mounting tape that is weather-resistant and allows for immediate and permanent attachment to the monument.

Production Technology

Our photo crystals are made using a method that allows for glass lamination. How does it work? A glass plate is bonded with a printed thermosetting base using a polymer layer. Simply put, the photo is printed on a special vinyl sheet and fused with the glass plate in a vacuum oven.

The advantage of this process is the reinforced structure of laminated glass, meaning it does not shatter into small pieces when broken. It is also resistant to weather conditions.

Crystal photos are characterized by photographic print quality. We use precise ICC color profiles, which allows us to guarantee the highest and unrivaled quality of our products. We make every effort to accurately reproduce the colors of the original photo. Thanks to the use of specialized inks, the image does not fade and is resistant to rain, snow, and sun.

We offer two types of glass: beveled and non-beveled (thickness: 10 mm and 5 mm). It is completely colorless Opti-White glass.

Which Shape to Choose?

Our store offers several shapes. The most popular is still the rectangular shape. However, we invite you to browse the full range. Among them, you will find square crystals – beveled and non-beveled, oval non-beveled crystals, and octagonal beveled crystals.

Beveled or Non-Beveled Crystal?

Choosing the type of bevel is certainly a difficult decision. A beveled crystal is distinguished by a slanted edge that creates a kind of frame. It creates a three-dimensional effect and beautifully refracts light. The photo looks elegant and refined, and the headstone gains a classic character. At the customer's request, we also make crystals with a transparent bevel – the photo is placed in the center of the glass up to the bevel.

A non-beveled crystal has a simple plate finished with edge grinding. It is characterized by a modern and minimalist design. Such glass looks beautiful on a monument and adds a non-traditional style. Non-beveled crystals with a thickness of 10 mm and 5 mm are available for sale.

How to Attach the Crystal to the Monument?

Each photo on crystal has VHB 3M double-sided tape. Such mounting does not require drilling holes. To attach the crystal to the plate, the selected spot should be thoroughly cleaned. The monument or surface must be degreased, dry, and free of impurities. You can then stick the photo onto the prepared surface. Remove the protective layer from the tape, then press the crystal firmly onto the plate. It is important to do this evenly, as after attachment, it is not possible to move the photo horizontally or vertically.

It is recommended not to detach and reattach the crystal, as the adhesive on the tape may lose its bonding properties. Using a different attachment method instead of the provided tape may lead to crystal damage.
