Manufacturing Technology: Photo crystals are produced through a glass lamination process, where the photograph is printed on a vinyl sheet and fused with a glass plate in a vacuum furnace. The result is a durable product with unparalleled print quality and weather resistance.

Shapes and Types of Crystals: Various crystal shapes are available, including rectangular, square, oval, and octagonal forms, in both beveled and non-beveled versions. Beveled crystals add a classic, three-dimensional effect, while non-beveled crystals offer a modern, minimalist look.

Mounting the Crystal: Each photo on crystal comes with high-quality VHB 3M double-sided tape, enabling easy attachment without drilling holes. Properly mounted, the crystal provides permanent and stable adhesion, resistant to all weather conditions.

Preparing the Photo for Mailing or Online Uploading

Mailing

We recommend always selecting the best possible photo. Sending originals is preferable to copies from memory cards, color photocopies, or similar reproductions.

Before sending, clean any smudges from the photo’s surface without using solvents or cleaning agents. Gently wipe the photo with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Be very cautious with non-photographic prints (printed photos from inkjet, laser, or sublimation printers), as rubbing may cause irreversible damage.

When mailing the photo, it’s advisable to add a piece of cardboard or sturdy paper to the envelope to prevent damage during transit. We will return the photo to you in its original form.

Ordering Without an Electronic Photo and Avoiding Online Orders:

If you do not have an electronic version of the photo or prefer not to order online, you can mail the photo to our company's address.

Be sure to include the desired dimensions (e.g., 8x10, 9x11 cm), print type (black and white, color), type of PhotoCrystal (oval, Bohemia, etc.), and your name and address. We will return the original photo along with the ordered product by mail.

Uploading Photos

Even when sending the photo electronically, we recommend choosing the best possible photo.

The resolution and quality of uploaded photos should follow our guidelines to ensure the best product quality.

For good quality in the final product, the recommended resolution is between 300 to 600 DPI for sizes from 8x10 to 10x15 cm. For smaller sizes, such as passport photos, a resolution of 900 DPI or higher is recommended.

Excessive resolution can create a file that is too large to upload or may need resizing during the retouching process.

Uploaded photos should be appropriately named to avoid mistakes or mix-ups during processing. Photos can be sent in various formats, such as jpg, jpeg, png, pdf, or tiff.
